In-Home Delivery & Setup

In-Home Delivery and Setup (White Glove) is the highest level of premium delivery. You do nothing other than welcome the delivery crew and show them where you would like your new furniture to be placed. The delivery team will remove the merchandise from the truck and carry the furniture into customer's home, unpacked and set up in their room of choice.

The crew will provide 30 minutes of setup time that requires basic tools. The shipping company will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment window, and once you confirm the schedule, you must be at the delivery location to accept the merchandise. We require 3" clearance on all sides of the furniture in order to make the placement without risk of damage to the customers home or furniture. We ask the customer to clear the area between the entryway and the room(s) in which they would like the furniture placed.

Inspection - In-Home Delivery (White Glove)

The white glove service will open the box(es) and place the item(s) in the room of your choice. Please INSPECT the condition of the item(s) and note any issues in the delivery receipt. Your signature on the receipt is your acknowledgment that your merchandise is satisfactory and delivered as ordered.

Important Delivery Information - Customer's Responsibility

We make every effort to ensure that your experience is an exceptional one. This includes partnerships with the very best Home Delivery providers available. While we don't anticipate problems with your delivery, accidents do occasionally happen. For this reason, it's important for you to understand your role in receiving your shipment.

• Typical Transit Times - your furniture is being transported by furniture home delivery specialists. Handling furniture through a nation-wide transportation network requires a great deal of care and expertise. FBB is not responsible for delayed service transit times.
• Delivery Appointment - delivery is by appointment only Monday-Friday, depending on area. The scheduling agent will notify you of the day(s) they are in your area, and will schedule an appointment within a four-hour window. Deliveries scheduled and confirmed with receiving party that are loaded and attempted and not completed due to availability within originally scheduled timeframe will be charged a re-delivery fee. Deliveries refused due to no fault of shipper or store will be charged a re-delivery fee. Re-deliveries will then be subject to a recharge of 100% of the original freight cost per shipment and will be the responsiblity of the customer.
• Inspecting your shipment - you are required to inspect your shipment before the delivery associate completes the delivery. When signing for your delivery, any damages must be noted on all copies of the delivery receipt.
• Signing for your delivery - FBB requires a signature at time of delivery. If you make arrangements for someone else to accept your delivery, you still hold the same responsibilities as if you signed for the shipment. If you make arrangements for the carrier to leave the merchandise without a signature, you wave all rights and release FBB from all responsibility regarding the shipment. Any exception to this voids FBB's responsibility for the condition of the merchandise or other delivery issues.
• Notification of damage or defect - FBB must be notified of any damage or defect within 48 hours of delivery.

Special Delivery Situations

If special delivery situations are present, we must be informed prior to shipment so that arrangements can be made. There may be additional time and charges involved. Special delivery situations include but are not limited to:

• Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or international destinations
• Military facilities
• Stair carries - greater than one flights of stairs
• High rise - if no elevator is available or furniture doesn't fit on the elevator
• Spiral or narrow staircases, or other special stair configurations
• Remote or mountainous delivery, or property difficult to access - e.g. low hanging trees
• Saturday Deliveries
• Island residence requiring access by ferry
